I have never flown private, but I don't think I would mind being alone in a jet, can get more work done.
I do one of two extremes when I fly. I'm either doing something extremely mindless (looking at Maxim, sleeping, eating, etc.) or I am working extremely hard on business reading docs and signing things.
There's very little in between and it totally depends on my mood. Also, many of my flights are less than 2 hours so often you can't accomplish a whole lot anyway.

I am the same. Some flights I am almost manic in getting work done.

Flatirons Aviation Management is one of the best private companies that charters.
They have a couple falcon 2000's a Global Express and a Challengar 604.
Based in CO, but stationed out of TX and CA.
Capable of flying to anywhere in the world.

Check online for the company info and number if anyone's interested in the highest level of service in crew, management and aircraft.

I actually like when there are less people on the plane. It is a nice, peaceful flight and I can usually get a lot done or relax depending on my mood. However, now that I have Internet on the plane, I find myself texting (via iPhone's iMessage) and emailing a lot. Just for reference, I am on a G3 so there is plenty of room for others if needed or wanted.
