Flying Private?

First Class overseas is the creme de la creme, with of course a major carrier. Luf, NW, U, AA, UE, etc. Granted, it's no G550.... but it's also not 15K an hour.

People can't compare it to domestic first class, which, IMO, is a step above a grayhound bus with a slightly larger seat. You can't think "domestic first class" when talking about overseas service. Or intercontinental, outside of the US.

check out Jet Charter-Private Jet-Air Charter-Jet Cards-Empty Legs Almost used them.. Virgin actually had a bidding site for private jet charters, but went offline a while back. They had really great customer service

Nothing but positive for Netjets. (EDIT: Using the Marquis Jet Card) Been on chartered G4s with them within the country and the service is top notch. For going out of the country, my friend has a G550 in his family they bought it for relatives to use whenever so we use that.

I hope to fly private someday, it sounds awesome. And by private I mean on a jet, I have flown in 4 place Cessnas and Pipers quite a bit.

Wow--I'm surprised anybody would let you do that. Most private jet owners are fairly particular with who they allow on their planes (I know I am!).

If they let you--more power to ya! Pepsi's Global looks sick.

True Platinum Baller. One of 11 or so (different planes) in their fleet.
We saw one of their G5's a few weeks back.

I'll never pass on a ride in any plane, so if given the opportunity I would fly in a King Air.

Helicopters are fun. Ive ridden in a Huey over Devils Lake, ND, and I road in a Blackhawk over the Black Hills and Mt Rushmore. That was fun.

In Europe helicopters make more sense, as there are a lot fewer airports than in the US.
Have flown a few times in one, good fun
Have been thinking about getting a helicopter license, but never got round to doing the math on owning/operating one, to do it for a living etc
