140 in a car and about 160 on a bike

 

146 on I4 in FL in my '98 Accord V6 with H/I/E and lowered...actually felt very solid with my setup...

With my current S4 only 138 on 95 so far...

Did take the Hertz Vette ZHZ edition up to 133 in Maui though...and yes I brought the Valentine for that trip.

 

Old car was around 150mph (well it went off the clock at 140mph and kept accelerating).. was a 300bhp Vauxhall Corsa with the 6speed F28 box

New car (VXR8) had it to 130mph so far.. still running the rear diff in so i cant hit the 170mph top speed just yet. another 500miles to go before that can happen

153mph in the LS at the Texas mile (had rpms left but no more go)

What a great thread question... Well I went 221mph (at the Texas Mile) Officially and 246 unofficially.. After all, what's the use of living if you can't feel alive?

 

156 in my old GT30R powered 03' Evolution on pump gas and still accelerating but let off.

I drove 340 Kmh in a Vette - no issues to report...

 

I don't think there's a track on which one could more or less easily reach 340...

I vote for our own german Autobahn Best "track" for such purposes.
