190-192mph , and it got there fast...

Here it is at the end of the video, came from well behind then let off as soon as I trucked past him, way too scary at that speed but it was stable (is that an oxymoron?)..

Fastest driven - about 140sh in a 06 Wrx. Rode - 173 in a 02 TecArt 911 turbo

 

2 wheels - KZ750 145mph
4 wheels - 997 GT3 164mph at Road America

However I can't count the number of times I went 150+mph last weekend at Roebling Road in my GT3. Top speed I saw was 157mph. If I could get out of turn 7 better I would have seen 160+mph!

As the driver...160 indicated in my M5 (no GPS and BMW speedo's lie)...At 150 I was passed by a certain members car like I was standing still!

As the passenger, I took a few laps in my uncles McLaren M8D at speed at Riverside Raceway way back in the day when I was 5 years old. He said we were well past 200.

 

Does he still have it? Whats its pedigree?

I have a couple.

On my first Bike a 99' R6 on the way to MIR Dragway my digital speedo stopped at 160. So I guess I was close to 140ish. I used to get it to 126 in the quarter.

My second Bike was an 05' Busa. My buddy had a Garmin on his R1 and I saw my speedo say close to 200mph on one run we did. To show how bad the speedo's are at those high of speeds. When we stopped and looked at the Garmin it said 176mph as a top speed. So that is the fastest I've been.

185mph when my car only had 625hp or so.

as tblackj said earlier, too many things go through my head once i get past 140 (although i do try to get it up to that speed at least once, conditions permitting, when i take the car out.)

I've driven in the 140's a couple of times in a couple of different cars.

Here is a vid I took of a friend doing 161 in a Mallett CTS-V. Drag played such a huge part from 145 onward. The power it took to get to 161 felt like an eternity. We were pushing a brick through space but the car was VERY stable due to the Penske's. If we had more road (miles more) I'm sure it would of gone faster eventually.

Fastest I've gone was 160 in a Supra. Fastest I've driven was around 140MPH. I was pretty scared at 160 but comfortable at 140. Maybe because I was driving.

 

I just did 110 on back roads in C63 :bitenails:
