I'm driving a 2009 F01 7 series, with the optional IAS (Integral Active Steering) and Dynamic Drive.

With the 21" Styling 312 wheels, the car looks awesome, but i feel it should sit just a little bit lower.

Has anyone here lowered an F01 with those special suspension options? I don't want the thing to wear out after 5000 miles because of excessive wear due to the lowering...

This is the car in question:

The car looks awsome I love the interior combo
Thanks... I also have the dark headliner. Works better than I thought it would, as long as I keep the sunroof cover open. I don't like dark interiors...

Car looks great but definitely needs to be lowered. Go with a set of H&R super sports.
Have been thinking about lowering (see question in OP), but need to know more about it in combination with the Dynamic Drive and Integral Active Steering (real axle steering)

The rims look great on the car but it definitely needs to be dropped. The Dynamic Drive and IAS shouldn't have any effect on the drop. My car has both and no one has ever mentioned there being an issue. If you wanted to double check I would PM someone from Active Autowerke.

Thanks. Which kit did you have installed?

I would PM MAC, AA or WB.

All have experience with the newer platform

First instinct was for me to suggest a spring set from H&R, but you raise a good question with the IAS and DD.

Beautiful car you have

Enjoy.
