This lovely charcoal and bronze themed 2011 997.2 GT3RS project came into us for a few choice upgrades, including the SharkWerks exhaust for the sound department, a bit more power with the EVOMSit software and a lighter set of wheels in the form of the Champion Motorsport RS20s.

On the deck for surgery...

Off comes the bumper:

And then the heat shields:

The titanium factory center section is removed and the SharkWerks exhaust installed in its place. There is still an 8-pound weight reduction wit our part:

The factory Titanium tips can be re-used with our exhaust system:

Bumper back on... this car came from Champion Porsche in Florida originally...

On goes the EVOMSit software calibrated for 91 octane. The sport function is still retained with both settings getting more aggressive throttle maps.

The stock interior before the addition of the Rennline pedal kit...

Now with the Rennline pedal kit:

Clear side markers are added:

Ready for a test drive...

Rear RS20 wheel:

She's still on-going and next up are the Schroth Harnesses, some track-themed suspension components, an RSS rollbar and SharkWerks FE kit. So more to come:)

If anyone is interested in a set of these Champion Motorsport RS20 wheels let me know as we actually are stocking them;)

Reading the info of the EVOMsit tune done on the car, there was only a gain of +12HP.
That's all? Correct me if I'm wrong.

A summary:
With software only, the 2010 GT3 went from 392 RWHP to 404 RWHP at the peak. The car gained about this much horsepower for most of its RPM range.

You might be right! This is a car with no turbos. ECU tuning on naturally aspirated cars doesn't bring you a lot hp. Only on turbocharged engines you have a massive gain in hp and torque.

Well I know another ECU tuning company that produces gains of 24HP and 18LB-TQ on stock 2008 NA 3.6L GT3's. They have no figures public for the 2010 GT3rs's but I know that they do have similar results for that model. Their work is amazing and they only put out their products if they obtained great results from their R&D.

All I'm saying is that people show take caution when modifying ECUs. Some companies with less experience can put out funny numbers but also alter functions on the car.

I know a company that did work on a Audi R8TT and did a horrible software tune to the car. Long story short: the customer is stuck with a screwed up engine tune.
Now that's my kinda RS!
Looking good. But they need to be black. They just do.

great work as always guys! stepping up the RS to an even more hardcore level.
Amazing work guys. +1 on the being black part. Just looks so stunning in black.
great work.

beautiful car.

I can't help but agree with "P". I'm curious to know if the wheels are the same size as the originals?
