How was the car even drivable after that Dukes of Hazzard-style jump? Did you see the front driver's side wheel all jacked up as it landed?:eek:

Apparently the struts did in fact survive, another instance of "you get what you pay for."

Reiger Suspension

Apparently even the control arms were intact and the most damage the car suffered was displacing the strut mounts 3mm or so!

Yes, kudos to him for grabbing those notes he wasn't reading. :lol:
Hahaha definitely, co-driver really dropped the ball on this one, just goes to show how a simple, single mistake can be potentially disastrous.

I got lost in my stage notes once on my first rally, but fortunately it was just before a long set of high-speed, gradual turns so we stayed on pace.

I wonder if their teeth were OK after that landing, maybe they'll use a mouth guard next time haha!
