Hey Guys...This run through Bear Mountain is held yearly and is always a great event!! Please read the info below that was provided by the organizer of the event. He has given me the OK the post this up. Please respect his request of not cross-posting this on other forums and to keep all the info received via email to yourself. Thanks and look forward to seeing you guys at this.

From the organizer:
I would like to announce the 9th annual Bear Mountain drive, featuring some of the most scenic, exciting, and challenging roads anywhere around.

TO ATTEND:
Please email me at [email protected] if you would like to attend and I will respond with the date of the drive along with any new information I might have. Please give me about a week to reply to your emails. If you have any questions about the drive, or any input, feel free to email me or post on the Tristate Forum on QuattroWorld which is also where updates will be posted. If you don't receive a response from me via email, please post on the QW Tristate Forum to let me know.

Those that choose to attend please remember that though many of us drive capable modified cars, we cannot deny the laws of physics. Simply put, we look to have a ton of fun on the road, but not at the expense of the safety of anyone in the drive, or any bystanders.

To participate in the drive portion you will need a singed waiver for each driver and passenger. If I don't receive your waiver you cannot participate in the drive.

WAIVERS WILL BE AVAILABLE AFTER ALL SPONSORS ARE CONFIRMED

-Kevin

The COI will most likely have the same starting location as last year. I’m just waiting on authorization from the establishment. As soon as it is confirmed the information will be included in my detail emails. Those that already received an email from me will get an update email with the information. The drive portion will start around 8-9 AM like at past years COI. It’s around 85-95 miles, depending on road closures, and should take approximately 3 hours to complete, but past years have proven that there is no way to know exactly how long the drive will actually take. So, I would leave this day open for only this event. The drive will end back at the starting location, where all those who want to can attend lunch at one of the local establishments.

Like past years the sponsors will be providing raffle prizes, to be raffled after the drive. There will be more details on how the raffle works in my detail emails.

i just got my return email from kevin. this event is def worth it. it is so well organized, and a great fall day too. some of the roads that we drove on last year were incredible, had no idea that they are that close to me. this time i'm saving them on the gps for future rides.
If its alright with you guys i would love to be in the L4P group. still new on this site!
Nick thanks for posting this up.
