Anyone ever own a Campagna T-Rex or know someone who has? I remember when these were big in the early 2000s and i have always been intrigued with them. I think they would be so much fun to drive around the city with

rob dydrek rockets around on one all the time
I know that Rob Dydrek has one but thats it. Doesn't this belong in the Asian auto section? Because I thought these were from Japan.
no there from canada actually
I would like to go from cali to vegas in one see how that pans out haha
theres a shop in texas that sells them... The reason why you dont see too many people driving them is because they cost like 45k for a 2005 and a new one will run between 70-100k....

who the hell is gonna pay that much for a 3 wheel bike with a hayabusa engine in it?

my buddies been looking for one and is serious about buying one, im trying to convince him not to and just buy a car
Id take an atom over this any day... just saying. that or another bike

Word...I'd buy an Atom any day over this.
A firend of mine has one. He said it was like his jet ski, cool for a season and loses its awe factor quickly after that.

The shop in Texas is Gran Prix motoring (not recommended) their main mechanic for 10 years is one of my best friends and is the only one that works on my bikes...he left gran prix and started his own shop.
my wife had the only factory pink Rex with the 3s kit that was ever built. It was also turbocharged and produced 430something whp. it was sold to a man in the middle east last year.
its powered by a zx14 engine (not a busa) and the older ones were powered by the zx12 engine..the first ones were gsxr1100 engines.

I dont know how much an atom weighs..but a t rex weighs 900 lbs..and pulls over a G cornering. it also costs about 8 grand to turbo the 14r motor...that puts it around 400-500 whp.
Had a T-Rex and plan on buying another one very soon. A new one will NOT cost you 70-100k I promise you. 2010 Are going between 50-60k max and you can get a used one now for 30k all day. In terms of an Atom over the T-Rex I would go with the T-rex with a Aero Kit and a turbod motor over the Atom every day because I still feel like an idiot driving the Atom around...

edit - can someone post the pic of the guy from Top gear in the Atom with his mouth wide open!
A buddy opf mine had one with the ZX14 motor in it and it's a blast. The only thing is you always have to be looking out cause the people in cars around you do not pay any attention to driving and in turn almost get in accidents.
