We have access to the Swiss Ronda 5040.B big date chronograph movement and i made a scale dial model today to see if we can do any designs using this movement. I know people like the big dates! The issue i had is what to do with the 12! On the M chrono the date window is a bit high and makes for a smallish 12. I think it may work better on the B Combat case so that is the next thing i am going to try as that dial is 2mm larger. Here are a few "rough" concepts to see what you think of the movement layout. Any input is appreciated! I like the movement. 1/10th second counter on the bottom, 30 minute counter on left, and running seconds on the right. Of course, central one minute counter. Being quartz, this is a nice low cost alternative to a very expensive complication.
