Bentley’s uber-luxurious Bentayga SUV is so nice, it’s almost become an inconvenience for the luxury car company.

Even after boosting the 3,600 originally planned units to 5,500, Bentley is struggling to keep up with global demands for their SUV. And things still aren’t letting up.

“We are evaluating whether we can do a little bit more next year,” said Bentley president Wolfgang Duerheimer in an interview with Reuters at the Geneva Motor Show.

“This is a step-by-step process, but it’s a nice problem to have.”

This is Bentley’s first SUV, featuring a new bi-turbo 6.0 litre TSI W12 engine that delivers 600 hp and 900 Nm of torque. The car’s performance is jaw-dropping, with a top speed of 301km/h and 0-100km/h in 4.1 seconds.

Pre-orders are doubling the 5,500 car run and the wait list for this luxury SUV is currently longer than a year.
