I am so impressed! I've got a 78 that I am working on. Know this is an old thread but I think your dash is sick. Any direction on that setup? (not necessarily the sound but the gauges, etc) thx
You can buy the stamped gauge panel from super scout specialists or IHOnlynorth - I think it's like $100. Then you add whatever gauge package you like. Pretty straightforward. Since we rewired the entire truck with a new painless wiring kit it was a no brainer

Always nice to see another Scout in Southern Ontario. Especially one as nice as yours. I'm very impressed. If your selling your old bumpers please let me know. Mark.

I still have the original front one if you want it. The back one got thrown out. Pics of your Scout? Literally never seen another one on the road up here since the 1980's

My Scout is a 1980 - built just a couple weeks before the factory was shut. Same body style as yours - but with the square headlights and the Nissan diesel option. Like you, I bought it in California. Shipped it here (Toronto, ON) last March. She is very rust free, unmolested and orginal - but worlds away from the beautiful condition and setup that your Scout is in. I will try to attach a picture here later. Can't seem to do it from my phone.

In 1976 up in Sault Ste. Marie my father bought a brand new Scout from the local International truck dealership. It had the same 304 as yours. Years later, it became my first ride. By then it had been well used by my Dad's shop and the rust cancer was well under way. But it still took all the severe abuse I threw at it! Being a young new driver I drove it with no respect - and everywhere - on and off road - and it always brought me home. Sadly joy riders drove it through a brick wall and that was the end. But the memories are still there, top off cruising - climbing a ski hill, and that great international 304 sound! That's why I bought my 1980. It's a different animal with the diesel, but everything else is the same. Please let me know how much you would like for your front bumper. Thanks, Mark.

Hello there again, I haven't been on here much lately as the only reason I joined this site was to chat with you about your great looking Scout. I tried to send you a PM but it won't let me, FYI there is a spot at the top of the page that has a bunch of different headings and one is Private message. That sure is a great look rig you built
