Understood - I couldn't agree more. Keep in mind OpenECry's platform is easylanguage supported and free - and their commissions kicked the living hell out of TS... just throwing it out there if you ever are looking for other options.

Since I use TradeStation for my business and have many clients with them I get a "kickback" and they actually pay me. Thanks for the information though on OepnEcry, looks like a nice brokerage.

As I'm starting to do real trades, I'm starting to learn how much Scottrade sucks ass. This is really a platform for kids, who just wanna come in, lose 10-15K and leave the trading world. There is never shares to short for volital stocks, the platform is semi 1902 style, and the customer service is 0. I e-mailed them something, and haven't received anything for over 3 days.

I've been playing with Think or Swim, but their platform is so HARD to use. Simply so much stuff, you'd really need a year just to master the platform, and I'm scared to trade using their platform. I'm scared, a simple user error will cost me money. (Not putting in the right order etc...)

^^ThinkorSwim is very hard to learn I will admit. It is very good but i am actively looking for new software that is easier to use....talk about a pain in the ass.

I have accounts TD Ameritrade, OptionsXpress, and Wedbush Morgan

I honestly don't know how people use TS to trade. I even watched their video tutorial for each section and I can barely do a simple short, and simple long. Been paper trading with it, just to get comfortable, but simply out of it. I don't think I'd ever ad any money to it.
