What a disaster trade I made today.. so I was in at $29.81 on Friday, I was at work and my job isn't just sitting at a desk, I'm always running around the office. I saw at one moment that the price was at $31 but I was too busy and couldn't place the trade 20 mins later it was at $30.10 and so I panicked sell like a loser and filled at $30.08. Now I see that it closed at $30.99, kicking myself but at least I still made a profit.

HOD 52 Week high, i'd say thats a pretty good indication. I'd sell tomorrow! HOU @ a 52 week low. More like 312 week low.

Emotions, especially in a time like this of uncertainty are hard to cope with. At least you made a profit. I would have sold today or tomorrow forsure. These are uncharted territories! Now, to jump on the HOU train?

I believe that HOD can still move a bit but the fact that the Fed changed the rules is what has me unsettled, I would love to jump on HOU at these prices but we have to wait and see I think. Hey have you been hit by ETF decay? I read up on it and it's pretty scary if the stock goes opposite of what you want, however I think the equation works in your favour when the stock goes in your direction. Is that a correct statement or am I out to lunch?

No, you're correct. They're always compensating for overbought, oversold conditions. But, i am by no means an ETF Guru, like some of the fellows on here. What i have learned though, is that you don't keep it for very long. Great day traders stock. But like you said, will decay with long term.

Lol that's the exact article I read, ya that's crazy especially since when I use to work at one of the big 5 banks that so many people were buying them up back when ETFs were new. Now I bet many of them have lost tons because of decay... Anyways enough decay talk, have you noticed that ever since the Fed stopped the MTM that WTI now has a higher price than Brent when Brent was ALWAYS higher than WTI!!! Can't make this stuff up man just take a look at the daily ticks here: https://www4.dailyfx.com/crude-oil

Interesting "Historically, Brent crude oil has traded at a premium to WTI crude oil." and there it is. I also found this part interesting but makes sense on the US side of things: "There is also a theory that increased exports could lead to a supply drop and stronger domestic demand, which could boost US oil prices." Things aren't what they use to be that's for sure but we must adapt, we must help each other get ahead of this and help each other be profitable. Together we'll crack into those 7 digits (assuming you are not already there haha I definitely am not, far way to go)

Haha yes we are living in truly exciting times, things are so backwards and messed up that no one knows what to do anymore. I need to be making investments cause the job - jump over backwards, jump on bark, just over broke is not the life I want to live. You can still make money on the short side of things, many people are just not aware that it is possible.
