What do you think of Jim Cramer?
I used to watch his show everyday years ago when it first came on. I don't do as much trading as I once did, but what do you guys think of him. He's defiantly a great rags to riches story."HEY Panda, we don't take too kindly to your types around here!" "Now skeeter, they ain't hurtin no body"
“Jessie, you asked me if I was in the meth business or the money business. Neither. I'm in the empire business.” –Walter White

listen to what he says and think about who this strategy takes advantage of in the market (hint: they watch his show)
not saying what he does is wrong, just pointing out the conflict of interest

Cramer had success as a hedge fund manager and that can't be ignored.
Look at his show however. Who is it targeted at? Professional investors are not supposed to be trading/learning from this show. He typically gives a real ambiguous look into market speculation for the short term, and that's about it. In 08 he showed his true colors by telling investors to dump/short hard in January and February. This is the same time people like Buffett, Lynch, and Munger were telling people to buy up and hold. Cramer never told people to buy before the market surged in early March.
The only way I would ever watch Cramer would be if he did paper trading during the show and recorded his earning over the history of the show. It's my believe that the show would be very different. If it didn't change then Cramer would be in the red long term."The best way to predict the future is to create it." - Peter Drucker
