Anyone looking at CHNR? Watched it runup on friday over 100% and closed near its highs. Some news has come out on the company about a spin off the last few days, May be worth looking into I wish i would have got in it earlier.

haha it's been almost a year since CLSN. Got hosed on that one but was an experience I'll never forget.

From the "pharma stock potential" thread:

    DRRX
DURECT Corporation (DRRX): Risk/Reward Remains Positive For Durect - Seeking Alpha

    AMBS
Amarantus Fundamentals Are Improving - Seeking Alpha

    PLUG

Plug Power Inc (PLUG): PLUG Some Power Into Your Portfolio For Significant Upside - Seeking Alpha

Another idea I'm watching closely is precious metals. Within the next few months, I will be buying a couple strong mining companies. A few in particular are EXK, SLW, IAG, and AUY.

These are all 100% speculative and done with a fraction of my actual investing portfolio.

This, I'm worried a lot of people read our biotech thread and assume that is where we all pour our money. I know for myself most of my money is in more consistent companies, that being said I spend more effort researching biotech companies because if you land right you can make some quick watch/car money.
