    Default Accumulating ANV

Allied Nevada Gold -- this company has had the shit kicked out of it ... I'm buying a shit ton of this now, and I'm also buying UNG (natural gas).

So UNG at around $18.20, and ANV around $4.30 ...

I've always been a sucker for stocks under $5. Took a brief look at ANV, and I see they adjusted their EPS, which meant they came up short on beating the revenue expectation. If they could get decent earnings the share could go well back up over $20. It' sitting on strong support currently at $4.18.

BullsFTW - What's your target for $ANV and any reason for buying it?

my biggest reason is gold is getting the shit kicked out of it - the market has not recovered, not yet --- and we are assuming that the gov't will taper buying bonds this month, I don't think so ... So that said, gold is cheap, but it's dangerous ... that's why I like miners, and ANV has a (massive) asset in Nevada ... I think their book value sits at well over $7 a share ...

So I'm buying it as a speculative buy, it's cheap, I'll stop losses at $3 if it gets there ...

BTW, UNG (natural gas) shot up nicely today, I'd like to see it go well over $19 before I sell - it seems to cycle like this ...

Bulls I agree the fed is not tapering anytime soon. Why do you think they won't? Also did you read about the mine in Alaska the big money backed out but a small company may still get it done if the EPA does not step in. I do not know if this is a public company but the one who wrote off 300 million was I think.

I see $ANV dropped a bit, just means more potential for a bounce from here. It's still sitting on support, but my stop on this would be around the $3.50 to give it a bit of room.
