Heading out to San Diego next week for a few days

Finally taking a vacation off work. I get 2 weeks off a year, plus a day here and there when theres a really good even t I want to attend....

So I'm taking my first week next week, which is also my bday on tuesday... Nothing big planned, just going to take my son out to SD and hit Sea World one day and the SD Zoo another day... Quick little trip out there just to get away for a couple days.. And nice places in that area to maybe walk around and grab dinner?

Looking forward to my 2nd Vacation Nov 1st... SEMA 2011 :whistle:

Island Prime's outdoor patio has very good food and a GREAT view of the city.
The gaslamp has a LOT to offer.
Winesteals near Cardiff has good flatbreads, sandwiches, and wine.
Corvette Diner is fun for kids.
Burger Lounge and Smashburger are my two favorites downtown (Nicky Rottens is popular)

What area / type of food & atmosphere are you looking for?
