Default looking for a basic quality camera

Not looking for anything crazy, but something that I can take pictures with for fun. So whats a good "starter" camera around $300-$750.
    thanks in advance

D3100 or D3000 is a good starter camera. I got the 3100 as a starter camera with a 18-55mm lens and it is a great starter camera. You can find one with the lens for a reasonable price now that the D3200 is out. D3000 has 10.1 megapixels, 3100 has 14.1 megapixels while the newest 3200 has 24.2 megapixels.

I basically just need it for properties I am flipping and marketing watches I have for sale and maybe take pictures of my cars and that kind of thing. Costco route would be the best?

D3100 is a good choice as someone above said... The D3200 can be had within your budget as well, although the 3100 would be fine.

    D3100- $480

    D3200- $599

look at the Sony NEX cameras. Very versatile, best of both worlds.
