Only been once and that was Kauai, most people like Hawaii more than myself. I did enjoy it though.

Depends on what you want. We prefer more remote and local so we stayed here:

Kauai Condo Rentals : Oceanfront Lodging : Hanalei Colony Resort

I highly recommend it. If you saw the George Clooney move, The Decendants, it was filmed nearby in Princeville and on the Hanalei Beach.

We will be celebrating 20th anniversary in August next year. Also thinking of going back to Hawaii. Kauai was our favorite for sure.

    Hotels.com usually has good prices.

As far as islands, I'd stay away from Oahu and go for Kauai. Kauai is the still very tropical where as Oahu has a lot of people and city.

    Honeymoon next Aug in Hawaii

    Hey guys,

I'm planning on honeymooning next Aug in Hawaii. We live in the US so didnt want to go further then 12 hrs and we believe this is the best place for that time of the year. We narrowed it down to Koa Kea Hotel, Kauai Grand Hyatt and JW Marriot in Oahu. Anyone have any experience or recommendations?

Also whats the best place to search for pricing? So far i've just looked at the usual suspects like booking.com, expedia, etc.
