Great job man, a lot of work went into what your doing. I know what your going through since I'm remodeling an old house as well. My main question is, I noticed you sister jointed areas like the ex, the window. How did you level out the 2x4's with the existing studs, since studs back then were either real 2x4's or some weird 2x3's.

I apologize for neglecting this thread so much, the renovations were completed long ago (almost 11 months ago)! I will try to get some pictures up of the completed house, not trying to leave anyone without the finished product. Every time I go into the house my favorite part is hands down the kitchen area, it really turned out amazing with the lighting, counter tops, and dark cabinet colors.

Smarter Bathrooms are more than just bathrooms, and as all renovators know, the benefits of dealing with one award-winning company means your kitchen, laundry and bathroom renovation can take a unique, functional and stylish look and feel while removing the stress to achieving your deadline. Laundry renovations can add lots of value to your home. As you will know, it is the woman who buys the home, so a well thought out laundry will appeal.

Stopped over today to see how the paint colors came out, took a few quick cell phone pictures and found some old pictures of a similar location.

Oct 15th, but most likely 20th. All that is left is countertops, painting, crown molding in the kitchen, some minor trim work on the front door and some other areas, plumber needs to install fixtures and tankless water heater, electrician needs to install fixtures and then completion!

The house is in Charleston, and the only thing BAR and Historic Preservation care about are exterior; just about everything from glass, to paint, brick walls, driveway, and so on require permission to alter.
