^ see there is hope after all.
My late 04 was not much of an issue and my 08 is a charm.

Wow lot of hate in this thread.

My 08 RR is over 35k miles no problem.

Rover are always a craps shot. just like the 5,6,7 BMW with their computers and it some how always seems to be a computer issue. Check with your insurance company and it they offer an extended warrany that covers electrical and it is a smoking deal do it.

The problem with the starts, leads me to think ECU as well. Even though Rovers have a key, it is just there to look pretty, the electronics work like a push button.

My 08 chirps at start in cold weather, but it is due to drive pulleys. The 3 - 5 starts is crazy since you should be able to turn key and release allowing the ECU to do the rest.

Are you saying that it just cranks and cranks but never starts?

Are these the only issues you have had with your 07?
Do you do the proper up keep?

I have a 07 full size supercharged it is at 65000km and it has plenty of problems
    1. The truck takes 3-5 starts in the cold weather
    2. Already has a chirping noise while cold
    etc

It is a nice looking truck but if you are purchasing one out of warrenty you are going to end up spending loads of money trying to keep it running right... I would look at X5's, ML's, and Touregs much more reliable and a little cheaper on maintence

Maybe we can just turn it into a L4P, party for off-roaders.
Agreed, but I think it might be a small turn out

Tha'ts very late in the year, I would like to go sooner also.
Late March or early April are great times in Moab - not to hot and not too cold at night.

Yea that had a flag for sure, I didn't meet them. I was riding shotgun with Columbia rovers, we were camping with sulihull peeps.
