Although using the betting odds to determine the overall placement isn’t a direct correlation, as the odds are on an individual winning the Title, if you go with the highest odds placing the highest and lowest odds placing the lowest, this is the “The Odds Makers” predictions for the Drivers Championship. I am most surprised at how optimistic they are on Alonso, and pessimistic on Massa and Raikkonen.
1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Nico Rosberg
3. Fernando Alonso
4. Daniel Ricciardo
5. Sebastian Vettel
6. Jenson Button
7. Valteri Bottas
8. Daniil Kvyat
9. Felipe Massa
10. Kimi Raikkonen

How the “Odds Makers” stack up the Constructors Championships. They really like Fernando and the new Honda/McLaren Partnership. I have a feeling some of this is affected by the sheer unknown factor of the new Honda power unit.
1. Mercedes
2. McLaren
3. Red Bull
4. Williams
5. Ferrari
6. Lotus
7. Force India
8. Toro Rosso
9. Sauber
10. Caterham

Going to go out on a limb and make some super early predictions.
My Driver Championship Predictions:
1. Lewis Hamilton
2. Daniel Ricciardo
3. Nico Rosberg
4. Fernando Alonso
5. Sebastian Vettel
6. Nico Hulkenberg
7. Valteri Botas
8. Daniil Kvyat
9. Felipe Massa
10. Jenson Button
11. Kimi Raikkonen
12. Sergio Perez

My Constructors Championship:
1. Mercedes
2. Williams
3. Ferrari
4. Red Bull
5. McLaren
6. Force India
7. Lotus
8. Toro Rosso
9. Sauber
10. Caterham

Personally I am pulling for an amazing year for Williams. I want them to pull off a Constructors Championship so bad, but I see it as a huge challenge to take out Mercedes. A few other random predictions:
1. Williams will win a race.
2. Red Bull will win a race.
3. Sauber will score some points, but not many
4. Nico Hulkenberg, and Daniil Kvyat will make at least one podium appearance.
5. Vettel will win a race.

I can agree with everything up to #4, I don't think Kyvat will podium, and Ferrari are still behind the curve even with the engine development loopholes that they and Renault have opened.

Looking forward to car reveals and testing starting soon!

Lotus have posted pictures of the new E23 on twitter. No twin tusk affair, thank goodness. Also, Williams have some pics of their stubby nosed machine, looks interesting.

Sorry for the multiple posts, just feeling a strong sense of excitement!

Alonso is out for the Australian GP! Looks like Kevin Magnussen will take his place for the race. I feel like it is a very long shot that Honda comes in with a winning combination straight away, but anytime a big name driver is out, it makes me wonder about the Championship ramifications.

How about Sauber? Van De Guarde has sued them, and won! It appears that Sauber must allow him to drive? That has to be AKWARD! I am still scratching my head wondering how that could happen!

I've never been a Ferrari fan, Shumacher killed Formula 1 for me for years. It was no fun watching him walk the field every week, and for his team mates to have to make way for him. Now, Vettel, who I have always been a fan of is in red! What is a fan supposed to do?

Well - 20 cars entered - 13 make a start - 9 maybe 10 finished -Politics and a lousy sounding 'power source' just may kill F-1. I hope not as it was good to see Ferrari run well and a couple of young drivers might make a good story if the Mercedes team doesn't have it closed out to early in the season.

Read an article that Newey is complaining that the FIA needs to step in and equalize. Most everyone is calling him a whiner. It is interesting to me, that when Braun was kicking everybodies butt, the FIA stepped in pretty quickly. The same was true when RB Racing was dominating, they made lots of rule clarifications to equalize the field. Now that Mercedes is dominating and Ferrari is back on the Podium, the FIA seems content to leave it alone.

SPOILER ALERT!!!

Mercedes BEATEN! As I have mentioned before, I am not a big Ferrari fan, never have been. I am a huge Vettel fan, although the way he acted last year with Red Bull wasn't my favorite. Anyway, GO FERRARI! The first team to flat our beat Mercedes since the beginning of last season! Woot! Beyond the chess match at the front, the mid pack racing was awesome!

Predictions: Kimi will win a race in the next 4 races. It is bound to line up for him at some point. I think a couple podiums are in order for him, but I feel strongly that he will stand on the top step.

Mercedes versus Ferrari will be the Manufactures Championship battle! If Kimi can turn around and get some clean races under his belt, Ferrari could take the fight to Mercedes. I have my doubts if Ferrari can string it together with enough consistency to really challenge the Mercs. I am very much looking forward to the battle.

Going out on a limb: Torro Rosso will place higher in the Manufacturers standings than Red Bull.

I desperately want to see Bottas get his maiden win, but they don't seem to have the same speed. Bottas on the podium in one of the next 2 races.

I just read an article suggesting that Haas F1 hire Danica Patrick and Jenson Button for the 2016 Season. Seems like a media stunt to me. Why can't F1 look at real ways to improve the racing, the experience, the competition, and quit with the gimmicks!?!?!?! Yes, I just called Danica Patrick a gimmick! Does anyone here really feel she has what it takes in F1?

Hey Nico Rosberg: next time the person in front of you is "driving too slow" PASS HIM!!!! I am 100% sure that if the lead car had been anyone except Hamilton you would have been chomping at the bit and made the pass! Are you afraid of Hamilton? Do you like being the 2nd driver for Mercedes? It sure seems that way!

I keep hearing something that annoys the crap out of me, and I would like others opinions on this:
"Ferrari is Formula 1"
I think Ferrari is a big part of F1, but I believe that even if Ferrari stepped away it wouldn't end F1. I find it so egotistical that I have a hard time cheering for my favorite driver, who now drives for Ferrari.

All I could think of while watching the podium ceremony: Does Nico Rosberg still wish the Ferrari's were a little closer to Mercedes, you know, so the "show" is better for the fans! LOL! I wish I had access to some raw footage to make a short video of it. Him saying that, then Vettel on the top step, and then Kimi passing him for 2nd! :) I don't know why this amuses me so much.

The mid pack racing is awesome! I hope it keeps up.

I predict Kimi on the top step in one of the next three races.

I also think Ricciardo is on his way to a podium in the first wet race.
