Garage Door Openers?

Well I finally bought a house (had one built). I need to get 2 garage door openers as I opted not to pay the builder $1500 to install them. I'm hoping to find a reputable installer to do it for less. Either way, does anyone have any recommendations? I'm looking for a belt drive unit as the master is above the garage. I know Chamberlain and Liftmaster are two of the most common options out there. Anything I should consider? Anything to look for?

Thanks.

We just installed two Sommer openers at our house. Theyre sweet- suuuuper quiet (it has a chain, but it doesnt move) and you can mount the 'control unit' away from the track giving you more clearance if needed. Lifetime warranty on the whole unit as well. Check them out.

Had both installed for $900.

Thanks for the info guys. I looked into Sommer and the product looks interesting. they still haven't contacted me about a dealer though. I've never seen one of the wall mounted Liftmaster units in person. Those seem intersting enough... I'll check with my local dealer and see what they say.

I have the lift master side mounted units as well (see video in my sig) and they are fantastic! Makes lifting the cars worry free.

I just bought a chamberlin whisper drive 3/4hp belt driven one with a ton of add ons for under $300.
