I'm not saying a pro at Vegas... but next week will be my 46 time in the last 10 years.

My suggestion is... if you want to share a room... try the Rio... it's behind Caesars and next to the Palms. It's pretty cheap also.

I usually stay at Caesars... in the Augusta tower... because it's right in the middle of everything... Plus I usually stumble back to the room after a good drinking night @ Pure on Saturday.

My trip next week, I'll be staying at the "Red Rock"... because the big boss want to chill at resort.

I am still a fan of Bellagio, but I am planning on staying at the Wynn for my Bday.

While we're at it, any good avenues for show tickets? I'd really like to check out a Cirque du Soleil show, and more specifically "O".

I am thinking about switching it up a bit for the next Vegas trip and staying down town. Possibly Golden Nugget. Last time I was in Vegas I had a blast bouncing around gambling on Fremont.

Luxor is ok. I stayed there for a bachelor party (I think they had the best prices then too). I prefer to be further up the strip (same problem with Mandalay Bay). I think you should be able to find something comparable at the MGM.

I like the Belagio for it's location and nice rooms, Palms for fun.

Anyone have an opinion on the Luxor? Through some promotion they seem to be having, I can get the 770sq ft pyramid suite for $569.99 for 3 nights. Sounds like a good deal, but I have never stayed there, and don't know what it is like. To good to be true?

But I think this is more romantic than other places. I got a suite there before and had amazing views of the strip. If you're going with guys and just want to party, not sure if this is best fit. It's also a lot more expensive. It was $1700/night compared to $1200 total for a 3 day weekend at theHotel.
