Hello all, I am new to L4P.

I wanted to share with you a new C&C group I launched last fall for Bergen County, NJ. I started the group mainly because Bergen County has many quality cars, but no place for all of them to meet regularly. After joining the Chatham C&C group, I decided to bring the meets up north.

Our meets are open to any sports, classic and exotic car owners and enthusiasts. We plan to meet at least once, but usually twice per month on designated Sunday mornings.

Our primary location is Ridgewood High School - 627 East Ridgewood Ave. We will meet at other venues from time to time, but Ridgewood has hosted all three of our meets to date.

* The next meet will be this Sunday, April 7th from 9:30 AM to Noon at the aforementioned Ridgewood High School parking lot. All are welcome as long as you comply with our no revving/burnouts "policy." If we disturb neighbors, we will risk losing our use of the parking lot, so don't spoil it for everyone.

I hope you're able to join us! If you would like further information, you can reach out to me in any of the following ways for updates:

Thanks,
Tony Boniello

Bergen County C&C - Saturday, May 11th

I am updating the Bergen C&C scene - there is no meet for 5/5 anymore. Instead, we are meeting on Saturday, May 11th from 8:30-10:30 AM at the Montvale rest area on the Garden State Parkway (between exits 171 and 172).

Please remember that we do not rev or peel in and out of parking lots, and that remains true here.

I will update this thread with details later in the week.

Feel free to reply or PM me with any questions!

- Tony

We had a small turnout today, mostly due to weather, but also due to confusion as to where we were meeting.

We didn't cancel today, but I am re-scheduling to next Saturday, May 18th from 8:30-11:00 AM. We'll again meet at the Montvale Rest Area (again, between Exits 171 and 172 of the GS Parkway). Please remember that we are using the commuter parking lot, which is beyond the lot immediately north of the rest area.

Bergen C&C - Upcoming meets

We have some new C&C dates to announce for the near future: - Saturday, May 18th (8:30-10:30 AM) - Montvale Rest Area between Exits 171 and 172 of the Garden State Parkway - Commuter Parking Lot

* Please note: There was some confusion as to which parking lot we are using. We use the commuter parking lot, which is beyond the lot immediately north of the rest area. If you are heading Northbound, use the left-hand exit off the Parkway, continue beyond the rest area, past the next parking lot and you will see the commuter lot. If you are coming Southbound, again use the left-hand exit and either make a sharp left-hand turn into the commuter lot or make a U-turn. *

- Sunday, May 26th (10:00 AM - 12:30 PM) - Ridgewood High School

627 East Ridgewood Ave

- Sunday, June 9th (8:30-10:30 AM) - Superdome Sports (Waldwick, NJ)

134 Hopper Avenue

- Saturday, June 22nd (8:30-10:30 AM) - Superdome Sports

All dates are weather-permitting.

We are having our final C&C meet this Sunday, June 30th before we dial back the quantity of meets for the summer. We are returning to our most "popular" location and to our preferred start time: 10 AM at Ridgewood High School. These meets always get the best turnouts.

Here are the details:

Sunday, June 30th

10:00 AM - 12:30 PM

Ridgewood High School
627 East Ridgewood Ave
Ridgewood, NJ

All sports, exotic, classic and muscle cars are welcome as always, but we ask that you do not rev your engines. Please do not make a left turn out of the parking lot and if you wish to smoke, please go to the sidewalk and refrain from doing so on the school property.

Thanks and hope to see you on Sunday!

We're going to try something a bit different for this weekend's meet. The Shannon Rose Irish Pub in Ramsey has offered to host us this Sunday, August 18th and they will be offering a special C&C brunch menu - opening early just to accommodate us.

Everything else is as usual - all exotic, classic and sports cars are welcome to join us, whether you've been to every meet or this is your first time. Please do not rev your engines or tear out of the parking lot.

The start time for this Sunday will be 9:30 AM and we will run through 12 Noon.

The official Shannon Rose Ramsey address is:

1200 Route 17 North
Ramsey, NJ

I hope to see you then!

Hi everyone,

It's been a while since Bergen County C&C met, due to weather and other scheduling, so we are getting back on track this weekend.

We will meet this Sunday, September 29th from 9:30 - 11:30 AM at the Montvale Rest Area (between Exits 171 and 172) off the Garden State Parkway. We use the commuter parking lot, which is the farthest north end of the facility. Refreshments are available at the rest area.

Please do not rev or attempt a burnout. For more info or to get on our e-mail list, e-mail carsandcoffeeNJ@yahoo.com.

We also have meets on Sunday, October 6th and 27th, for those who want to plan ahead.
