I actually got it to work perfectly, I just chose my iphone but on bluetooth and not a problem, I can play my itunes, pandora, our any music and it works perfectly.
I can even use my iphone to browse through my itunes while they are synced and choose what music to play.

Try this and tell me if it fixes your problem...my iPod Classic works flawlessly....before syncing I use Ford's "Sync my iTunes" I used this before I traded my 2010 Harley F150 for my 2011 RRS

SYNC My iTunes will correct annomalies in your itunes library, so that all of your media will play.

agree, definitely didn't sell the M3. drove it last night in fact to pick up a drunk friend (didn't want them to puke in the RRS!.. how my mentality has changed about the M!!), and it was fantastic. the steering rack ratio is super short compared to the RRS, and the throttle response puts a fat smile on my face. glad i have both rides!

I got delivery of mine last saturday.

Sumatra black and Tan, and black headliner.

Only honest con up to now is the Ipod sync stops after about 1 minute of play time, it also does it when I have my Ipod plugged in through the AUX plug. I just cant get it to keep playing.

I do agree that LR could have done something about the interior lighting.

Got time and made quick sample- sand Alcantara with black doublestitch vs. beige doublestitch. For me is interesting to know whitch one you guys prefer more. Vik, black is not bad at all, my sorry!

I agree with all of SECRET M's points.

    - I expected the stereo to be better than it is - it is crisp, but not realy loud.
    - Electronic bugs - after starting, it takes awhile to boot up, so I'm usually 3/4 backed out of the spot before the camera comes on. Yesterday, the unit re-booted as i was backing out, which was odd, but has worked fine since. Also, when using steering wheel controls to scroll pre-sets, they sometimes skip (1-3, 2-4, etc...) Having owned Porsche, BMW, MB before this, was a bit surprised... In-laws Bentleys dont have these issues, but they are mostly german at this point, and cost 4x more...
    - Front windshield filaments threw me off at first, don't notice them now. Having moved to Chicago, I imagine they will come in handy soon!

Mine is Sumatra Blk with Blk int, leather is great, paint is stunning especially in good light

secret, if this is your only vehicle, you're going to be bored man having replaced the m3. at least for me, i thought i could do without a fast, low slung vehicle... but that lasted about 5K miles when i picked up a 911 again.

i see so many new rover sports driven by females... and even when mine's heavily modified aesthetically... you still are rolling in a utility truck.

LR really needs to up its reliability game esp when it comes to all the complex electronics on this 2 ton beast. i don't have peace of mind and will likely dump it once i get close to running out of factory warranty. i had a friggin accelerometer go bad. wtf is an accelerometer and why's it going kaput on a babied brand new fuqn vehicle? the camera vision system is pretty much useless yet it creates a blue screen which requires tons of labor hours to get at all the wiring.

looking forward to the next RRS and full size. it's going to have to be amazing.

after a few days with the car, i definitely have found some things that aren't quite on par with what i had hoped, but not a big deal IMO.

    1. 825W Harmon/Kardon system kind of sucks. My E92 M3 stock system (not enhanced stereo option) sounds 5x better.
    2. British automakers aren't too great with their electronics. The Germans have this area mastered (Porsche PCM, BMW iDrive, etc)
    3. The rear seats and interior in general is really poorly lit when you open the door! It's really surprising as adding lights so simple and has such a huge effect when you unlock the car. BMW ambient lighting really makes the RRS interior lighting look like amateur hour
    4. Still not used to the front windshield defroster filaments..

    Things that blow me away:
    1. The leather is awesome. It's really outstanding as far as build quality, feel, looks etc. I get so many remarks about how beautiful the tan looks.
    2. Sumatra Black is more like a Satin Charcoal Blue/Gray Black. It is mostly black, but under the right lighting, it has a very fine grain texture that looks like a satin charcoal (silver + black) with a slight hint of bluish gray. It, however, is nothing like Carbon Black Metallic from BMW which is essentially blue pearl over black. The color blows me away though as it has so much depth and texture to the way it looks. The bluish gray satin charcoal black has a very sophisticated and refined look to it. Not something your average paint shop mixes up.
    3. The power tailgate is great. Never lived without one, so I can't speak to have window access, but the boot accessibility is super easy with it.
    4. The engine has so much torque, but the throttle response is really nonlinear, so sometimes the car kind of jumps from a stop under very light pressure. Coming from an M3, it's a bit new to me to have so much torque at idle!
