Thanks for the facebook message man haha

Sorry guys been crazy busy, responded to PM's. But just to clarify

Obviously we are able to keep the cost down because this Rally is non-profit in every way. We also keep the cost down by seeking the help of sponsors and advertising if any companies are interested.

- The Entry $900 per car Covers you and your co-drivers Hotel rooms for the entire 5 days 4 nights,

- Graphics for the Car

- Also during the Rally hundreds of pictures will be taken and hours of footage will be recorded to be combined in the next dvd. (which you get a free copy of)

And mainly since the Rally is for a Friend and fellow BMW enthusiast who passed away from cancer, a portion will be Donated to American Cancer Society and National Donor program.

Obviously any tickets, gas, food or alcohol you get are on the individuals. It makes it much easier and cheaper if you go with a co-driver some people like doing it by themselves, but Its deff easier on you driving 14 hours in a day to split up as well as gas.

We are open to all makes and models and welcome new members with open arms, looking forward to talking to more of you about it and hopefully have some of you join in!!

Yes sir, deff hard to beat.

If you have a co-driver thats $112.50 per person a night...

The Coast to Coast Rally obviously is going to cost more because it's more nights and longer distance, but we will still try and keep it around the same average cost.

We have found if you don't include things like food or Alcohol/Parties you can keep the Entry cost down and leave the types of food up to the individuals and actually spend less and have more for when we go out to the clubs etc.

Bsaintmedia is our Primary Media source we have 3 Photographers and 2 Cinematographer (inluding myself) on the run. We are going to be running a Media Vehicle this year for most of them, easier to get shots out the back of an SUV also will cycle media through different vehicles as well.

We are open to other media outlets and encourage the
expansion of the rally, the only rules is that any footage shot by outside media source or individuals on the rally must go through bsaintmedia before they can be posted. (Mainly for footage to be added to the dvd and make sure the Rally is not depicted in a negative manor.) However photography and pictures are allowed to be posted on blogs, forums, world wide in fact we encourage it.

I will PM you details as far as sponsorship.

Throw up some pics, but I don't see why not.

I'd love to get some more L4P members on this, so more the better.

50 people, 25 cars. Driver and co-driver per car

Now I just need to figure out how to get to Philly for the Run... Hmmm. You mind having a Volvo along with y'all? hahah

Or, I'll wait till the Coast to Coast and possibly have some more interesting rides to run with.
My buddy Chris and Eric come down from NH to do it and a few others from further away, just leave a day sooner and grab a hotel somewhere close. I can give you a list of some close by to where we are leaving from if you want.

2StepsAhead You should be active now on the forum.

contact gotham dream rentals in nyc. take a flight from AZ up to nyc, pick up the rental, have them sponser you for the drive, and drop it off down in miami(their other location).

you know for a half ass thought, it made a lot more sense than i thought it would

#44 ·
Also I just contacted Rob from gotham,

The cheapest rental with the distance that is on this run aprx 2,777 miles would range around $7,500.

lol it was a nice thought, but maybe not practical.

#45 ·
Yeah, I just checked their site real quick, and the cheapest is the M6 cab at $1300, just for the rental. Then it goes nuts with extras. Even at that price, that's $1300, roughly $500RT for plane, then $900 for the rally, then let's say, $300 food/drinks (being cheap), the M6 gets 13mpg combined (that won't happen), which means roughly 215 gallons at an average of say, $3.90 is $850. That's close to $4K at the end of the day. Now, if it is indeed $7500, id be at $10k+. At that point, although I'm sure its an experience, I could go buy a plethora of cars, or even put the money to better use. And like I was saying, I'll be very interested in the coast to coast, so I'll keep my ear to the wall for that one. Hope this year is a blast for those of you going!

#27 ·
Thats what I like to hear bro! Co-pilot spot reserved for ya
Guys, i did this event in 2008 and it was AWESOME!!! Steve runs a first class operation and the money goes to a good cause - AND you get to drive your car with other cool cars to a cool spot to party. What is there not to like?
You doing the rally this year Jon? Already have 3 cars from NYC doing it..will hopefully have a few more.

^^ Nice, hope to see you on the rally!

And this is so baller, I went on the 2008 and 2010 rally and had a blast. Seriously if you miss this you are missing an event of a lifetime, all for under a grand!

#40 ·
Really looking forward to this as well. I definetly plan on attending, either riding with 2Steps of possibly bring my Bullitt Mustang if I can find a co-driver. Just to be sure, If I reserve a spot for my car and my co-driver backs out I can still get a refund just as long as it's before September 6th?

#41 ·
Yes sir, and you can change co-drivers if something comes up as well.

We try and be as flexible as possible.
