    Update!

Sorry I haven't been posting in here for a while...

Anyhow, the company (and whole idea) are on hold and have been over the last two or three months. My partner who was also my main design guy lost interest and no longer is part of the project.

HOWEVER, I am still designing by myself, and I'm learning about different kinds of print media and how to work with them. So... hopefully if I can stay on track, I will get some shirts made soon. If not, I have learned to get a committed partner in my other ventures.

I would definitely look at starting a website and selling through the website, along with your business. Advertise anywhere possible online - Facebook was a great suggestion.

I don't own a business, but this would be first thing I would try to do after/right before starting one.

If you need help or any advice with website, feel free to pm me...I own 2 right now, about 6 total In my lifetime.

Hate to re-hash an old topic but this information is exactly what I've been looking for. I am an aspiring Image Consultant/ Fashion Designer.

Another idea is to create an original concept video, hire a production crew to do it, make it into something that gets sent all around the world, but all the actors are wearing your clothing. Then brand market it!

Imagine if all the guys on Lonely Island were wearing your clothes, for example!

Figuring out how everything works is half the fun... I started out printing my own stuff on a ryonet 4 color 1 station... it gets old real quick though... I still do some of the sublimation stuff like Bikini's but that because I enjoy doing the one off stuff.

Get your line out to the world fast, always push the brand, and find the right people to give free shit too (KJD - I'm looking forward to the "2 nite" gold edition pics you promised).

And on that note take good photography both for promotional and product... and you your not able to shoot good then find good looking models - they'll make it look acceptable...

A small update: haven't put anything up one this thread for a bit -- we are still getting designs down and getting them into the computer. - process is a bit slow as this is our side project..

Right now we need some tips on the manufacturing aspect of it.
Our idea is to start of with hand making each shirt, then once we get some return, having them printed.
Marketing, SEO, and what sets you apart? Hand making is great but you cannot mass produce... Production - you need to find out your demographic, the sizing needs, what will and will not sell and cost. you can do it in the states at a premium or farm it over seas.

If you need help PM me

    Small Update:

We are getting designs up in photoshop so that we can start production on the first runs.
I have also been talking with lots of people in the manufacturing industry and at FIDM.
