I am very happy with my '11 RRS S/C. 500HP is enough to get it moving, interior is well put together, off-road capabilities and settings have proven to be useful, and it stands up well to the abuse of hauling colleauges, nights out, road trips, etc... There are instances where I'd pick other SUV's over the Rover (such as frequently towing, hauling a lot of people, wanting precision handling) but for what I use it for I couldn't be happier.

As far as reliability, I know someone with an early sport model that runs like clockwork, and yet I know others that had full sized S/C versions that threw codes and would power down to limp-home mode. With this in mind I was always back and forth on the brand, but after Tata purchased the company and revamped the sport model in 2010 I figured I'd give it a try. So far so good.

None, and I never will. Working at a Land Rover dealer for 2 years showed me how unreliable they are.

Yeah if you looking to but like 200k plus on a car then yeah you don't want air suspension, the most i have put on a car is my current rover with roughly 70k on it about 10k a year so i hear you.

Yea, I am not at that caliber of vehicle yet. But atleast with a GMC it is capable of 300k plus miles without some air ride suspension shitting out on you.

This is why I don't buy cars purely for 'status'. I buy a car that works for me and while I love the Range Rover, I think some of the nit picky shit could be fixed to be more reliable.

Yeah i totally agree with Adam here things like gas mileage and oil changes are definitely not a consideration, i have a Porsche 997 carrera s cab and oil change for that vehicle is like 80+ some dollars plus a full so called service is 250 dollars. With cars like Rovers and 997 etc, they are very high caliber cars that have huge amounts of prestige and status, hence when you buy these cars you should expect big bills. GMC in all honesty isn't the same class as a Land Rover to begin with, but in the end just buy what makes you happy its your money
