You're quite welcome. I have more photos of wrecked GTRs, but as said, apparently all of them have been repaired and live on today.

Rowan's F1 is chassis #061, which he purchased in 1997 around the time his box office success, "Bean" the movie, was released. It's a very deep burgundy color, some refer to it as purple, and has burgundy accents in the interior.

I can't tell you too much more about the crash, but it was reported by the local news:

BBC News | Entertainment | Mr Bean crashes sports car

Not again, Mr Bean! | Mail Online

Star's [pounds sterling]100,000 prang; Atkinson's supercar comes off worse in Metro collision | Daily Mail (London, England), The Newspaper

Anyway, here's a shot of the victim's car - relatively undamaged. Love the 48pt font on UK press headlines.

Rowan is an active user of his F1. Its been spotted on motorways, parked around London and at a couple of tracks in the UK. Here are some images I had hosted of it, all but the very last one, from a trip to Goodwood Park.

Here's a video of the car on track that day as well:

Rowan's F1 has also been used twice in Top Gear episodes. The first time back in 2006, when they compared the older and newer generation of supercars, during the episode where they borrowed Nick Mason's Ferrari Enzo which Clarkson kept incorrectly referring to as an "F60".

More recently his F1 was borrowed for use in Abu Dhabi for the 1 mile drag race against the Veyron. Most have probably seen the clip, but if not Vimeo.com has a great quality version here:

McLaren F1 vs. Bugatti Veyron - Top Gear

Before the complaints start - no, they did not use the Veyron's Launch Control system, but had they done so it would have made a far less dramatic piece of television and TopGear is first and foremost an 'entertainment program' not a news hour.

I think that covers it, but let me know if your curiosity isn't satisfied.

I had just came in this thread to ask you that very question about which car it was that was used in both Top Gears. Thanks again for answering a question! Your knowledge knows no limits!

I seem to recall some sort of estimate on the value of the engine related to the total price of the F1, but the answer isn't one that's on the tip of my brain at the moment. I'll poke around and see if I can recall the article to quote from.
