    I agree with the thread... I just don't understand. I guess it's a G thing.

It's a little too boxy for my liking. But I can understand the appeal in a way...

I am Armenian, I think it looks good but other than that it's a waste of money LOL. I see every rabiz and there great grandma driving around in a G-wagon and it's just getting old lmao

    Word.
I think if your gunu get a G then you have to get it brand new, either a 550 or 55, because those 500 motors are pathetic . 295 hp for that tank is waaaaaay to little.

But then again if your paying for a new one you're going to have to drop at least $107 g's on the thing and for what it is it's not worth it at all. For a little bit less (around $99 g's) you can buy an X5M/X6M which both have 555 hp (while the G550 has 382 with a usual price of around $107 g's and a G55 has 500 hp at around $128 g's), look better than the G-Wagon, are more comfortable and fun to drive, and have more space inside. The one thing the G-Wagon beats the X5M/X6M at is the resale value and that's mainly because they haven't changed the way the damn thing looks (and they don't need to) in well...ever

That's a great factor you pointed out. Resale value on that car is unbeatable to say the least. Nowadays you'll see a G500 with 100k miles listed in the high 30's. This is why in my opinion it would be a great car to BUY brand new. You know your not going to lose much when it comes time to sell it. Regarding the comparison to the X5M and X6M, i think the G is in another class to be honest. The purpose of the G is very different than what the X5/6M is, those cars are made to be sporty, the big benz is made to be fast, but have a exclusive presence, which it accomplishes.

Ya I agree but I don't think it fits into the sporty category, the off roading category, or the comfort category so I guess it's at a class of its own
