The price is just one on one Euro vs. Dollar. I'm sure there is some room for negotiation...

    **************

INDEN-Design Car Tuning Mercedes Tuning Ferrari Tieferlegung BBS Felgen und KFZ Umbauten

    Complete change on Black Series:
    - Fender in front Wheel arches in the back
    - Hood Lamp units
    - Inner wheel boxes in front and in the back
    - Tail apron with diffuser
    - Side kirts Tail spoiler (SL 65AMG)
    - Steering wheel (w209)
    - Exhaust system (final muffler)
    - Lacquer finish complete vehicle except roof

    € 49.900,-

So its roughly even $71K with todays currency... So 56K is a bargain

I think it needs some sort of roadster humps like how the V8 Vantage volante has

Shit...wait two years. The Black Series will be going for what they're asking for the body kit. Benz's depreciate faster than GM stock.

Give it time, I'm sure someone will bust out a complete BS body kit for the SL that will be in the sub $10k range.

I would personally prefer an SL55 or 65 with the BS kit over a true black. A hard top SL is just useless IMO.

You would need proof of ownership I.E. Car Registration, VIN, etc.

You CAN get the parts if you know someone. All the parts are searchable but they are blocked to order. You will need someone from the inside at the Mercedes HQ to unlock it for you. When I use to work at Mercedes, my assistant manager knew the guys at HQ really well and he was always able to get anything. It was nuts.
