St. Kitts continues to be a popular marina for the affluent to dock their super yachts and stroll around the area for a while, but now they will be able to sleep in style with the introduction of a new resort.

Chrisophe Harbour is adding an enormous 11,000-square-foot resort to its grounds, dubbed “The Customs House”. Made of handmade bricks and featuring tall arched doorways, the building will be the perfect place to rest your head after a few weeks aboard your yacht.

The building will house a real estate centre, crew lounge, customs/immigration station, a fitness centre as well as a marina operations post. Travellers can spend some time viewing the stores and boutiques, including a rum shop which will sell local small-batch spirits. But for most guests, the time best spent will be in their rooms, enjoying the view.

The village is set to be completed in 2017.
