Someone Actually Built an Apartment at the Top of the Eiffel Tower

It doesn’t get much more patriotic than this: enjoying the biggest sporting event in the country from said country’s most recognized landmark.

HomeAway offered lucky participants the chance to stay in an apartment situated inside the Eiffel Tower just in time for the UEFA Euro 2016 tourney. HomeAway is giving the world its first look of the exclusive accommodations from the lofty Eiffel Tower.

The soccer theme is present throughout, though French interior designer Benoît Leleu added his own touches of charm and modernism to the repurposed conference room.

Soccer fans can enjoy the oversized lounge, urban greenhouse, and soccer-inspired details littered throughout as they watch Europe’s top soccer nations battle it out this month. Not for guests with a fear of heights, the apartment sits 187-feet off the ground. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide unrivaled views of capital city Paris, including the Grand Palais, Arc de Triomphe, Sacre Coeur on Montmartre, and the Seine River.
