The answer is simple: every limited edition decanter comes with a rare 57-year-old single malt. Say hello to the glamorous 57-year old Macallan Lalique. “In homage to the beauty of Lalique’s Finest Cut decanter, we chose a particularly rare 57 years old Macallan single malt whisky,” says David Cox, Director of Fine & Rare Whiskies for The Macallan.”It is the second oldest The Macallan whisky ever released, only surpassed in age by the legendary 1926, a 60 year old bottled in 1986.”
Designed by the French crystal house Lalique, this beautiful decanter looks like an oversized perfume bottle — a long piece of crystal hangs under the bottle stopper like an icicle. Crafted at Lalique’s crystal-making facility, each decanter is the work of 15 talented craftsmen.
There are only 400 limited edition decanters available for special order, each one individually numbered. If you have $15,000 to spend on fine scotch, place an order before it’s too late.
