Every floor of this modern Aussie home has the same clean, crisp decor and a hint of gold to keep things interesting. Our hats are off to Luigi Rossellli Architects for turning this 1950’s house into a contemporary home anyone would be proud to own.
The owners are none other than a film director and his new family and while they are not named, we have no doubt they are loving this elegantly designed home.
The top level of this three-story home boasts an office with plenty of natural light streaming through the windows and built-in cabinetry to hold all your supplies and paperwork while a modern table sits in the middle.
The bedroom keeps with the theme, its black french doors grounding the mostly white room.
The en-suite bathroom features a double sink, the faucets facing beside the sink rather than behind it. Two tall vertical mirrors seem to blend into the cloud-speckled sky behind it, the glass half-frosted for privacy.
The walk-in shower is laid with exquisite black tile, which makes the gold shower head and handles stand out in stark contrast.
Walking downstairs, you’ll find the staircase is laid with high-quality wood with a single banister on one end and a veil of gold mesh on the other.
Not unlike the bathroom, the kitchen features a myriad of subdued hues with a pop of polished gold.
The eat-in kitchen features a lovely retro dark blue bench and a long modern table, making mealtimes a family affair.
All in all, this home is definitely one to be appreciated…and envied!
