A modern architectural masterpiece in Sao Paulo, Brazil has just been listed for sale by Christie’s International Real Estate for $11.5 million. The home, which resides on 40 acres of solitary Brazilian mountainside, was imagined by award-winning architectural firm Forte, Gimenes & Marcondes Ferraz Arquiteto.
“I believe there is a complete symbiosis between the buildings and the surrounding nature,” explained architect Rodrigo Marcondes Ferraz. “The wide glass wall, the independence of the spaces and the amazing visual make this project unique.”
The house was designed to blend in perfectly with its surrounding landscape native forest, seeming to “float” above the land. The eco-friendly space has eight bedrooms in all with 33,615-sq.-ft. of interior space including a main residence “nucleus” with bathroom, social area, kitchen, owner’s apartment, guest room and three other “modules”, which is how the house comes together.
