If you’ve never heard of Arash, you might want to pay attention. The British boutique automaker was at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show with the latest iteration of its AF10 hybrid hypercar, packing 2,080 horsepower and a zero-to-60-mph time of just 2.8 seconds. The company also claims that it has a top speed of over 201 mph.
Helping generate all those ponies is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 engine that makes 900 hp while four electric motors combine for a system output of 1,180 hp. Total torque comes in at an insane 1,682 pound-feet and the hybrid hypercar features five gearboxes in total, with each electric motor having its own two-speed unit. Customers can opt to have a six-speed manual or a paddle-shift automatic mated to the V8 engine.

Arash has regularly used the Geneva Motor Show to unveil its specialty sports cars with the latest AF10 featuring plenty of carbon fiber throughout. Residing underneath is a 13-piece carbon fiber tub and the material can be found everywhere else including the seats and dash. Unfortunately Arash doesn’t disclose how much the new AF10 weighs. Oh yeah, there’s also center-locking Magnesium race wheels on all four corners.
The company likes to call its powertrain a “warp drive system” and boasts that the AF10 has more spaceship DNA than car. And if you’re really interested in getting your hands on one, the standard hybrid version costs $1.6 million, while the Racer model that has a roll cage, fire extinguisher and intercom system runs for $1.7 million. If all you want is a good ‘ol 550-hp V8 engine, that will cost you just $495,000.
