With all the insane supercars driving around Dubai these days, it only makes sense to have a police force with similar tools to keep drivers in check.
The Dubai police force just added a new vehicle to its crime-fighting lineup: the Porsche 918 Spyder. With a 4.6-liter V8 and two electric motors, the 918 Spyder has 887 hp and a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.6 seconds – or enough umph to catch the fastest sports cars on the road.
It doesn’t have police lights on its roof but is fitted with the police livery that’s found on the rest of the Dubai’s police supercars. While the 918 Spyder starts around $845,000, it’s actually not the most expensive car in the police force – but still a good investment if it’ll keep the roads even a tad safer.
