Want to enjoy hypercar performance and open-air motoring? Ferrari has the answer with its new LeFerrari Convertible, but you can’t buy one.
For now, Ferrari has only released photos of the car, with the rest of the details set to arrive at the Paris Motor Show in September of this year. Ferrari won’t say exactly how many of these limited-edition cars it will produce, but it doesn’t really matter, because every single one is spoken for and the order books are already closed.
Buyers will be able to choose either a carbon fiber hard top roof or a soft top, while specifications for this car won’t change from the standard variant, which means that a 788-horsepower V12 is paired up with a 120 kW electric motor, sending a total of 949 hp to the rear wheels.
Modifications have also been made to the chassis to make sure the car retains its torsional ridigity, while aerodynamics have been tweaked to ensure the LaFerrari Convertible still achieves the same drag coefficient as the fixed roof variant.
