If anyone was going to spend $5 million on a car it would obviously be Floyd “Money” Mayweather, and that’s exactly what the boxing champ just did!
Mayweather paid a whopping $4.8 million for the V8-powered CCXR Trevita by Swedish supercar maker Koenigsegg. Limited to only two examples, Trevita features a unique carbon fiber coating offered in a silvery white pigment instead of traditional black. When hit with sunlight the car’s bodywork sparkles like diamonds. Seriously!
For $4.8 million this Koneigsegg now holds the title of the world’s most expensive car, topping the Lamborghini Veneno Roadster.
Floyd ’s new ride goes from 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds flat and also includes a double carbon rear wing, carbon ceramic brakes, a hydraulic lifting system, tire monitoring and an iconell exhaust system (just like Formula 1 cars use!).
Mayweather also has some other sweet rides.
