What goes better with expensive super-luxury cars than other super-luxury goods? Nothing. Which is why Bugatti and Champagne Carbon have combined to bottle a special Bugatti bubbly. And they're both local companies, both coming from France's Grand Est region.

"We are thrilled to have the chance to begin an adventure with Bugatti. At the crossroad of tradition and modernity, excellence and technology, Bugatti never makes compromises. We feel the same about our Champagne", said Alexandre Mea, CEO of Champagne Carbon.

The ƎB.01 champagne will be a blend of 90 percent Chardonnay and 10 percent Pinot Noir grapes. The vintage comes from 2002, which was a time when Bugatti was still working on stunning the world with the Veyron. It was also an exceptional year for grapes. So we're told. Our staff can tell you the differences between 10 different vintages of the same car, but this isn't quite in our wheelhouse.

Champagne Carbon rose to prominence last year when it started supplying the sparkling to Formula 1. Their bottles are coated in a layer of real carbon fiber, though the bottles themselves are still glass and the standard shape due to laws regarding what is and what isn't Champagne.

And while the two brands want you to know how well they compliment each other with synergy and probably shared values and all of that jazz, we (and they) want to remind you that though the brands pair well, drinking and driving do not. So don't do that.
