OK, Instagram was fine, but it sure was busy keeping up with a lot of new Lamborghini Veneno pics!
Nothing turns heads like a Lamborghini, but with the ultra-rare and outrageously styled Lamborghini Veneno Roadster you run the real risk of causing pedestrian whiplash.
This one lit up Instagram earlier this week when it was spotted cruising the streets of Beverly Hills, Los Angeles. Ferraris and Porsches are as common on Rodeo drive as Honda Civics are in the rest of the world, so it takes a special car to stand out.
With only nine units ever built at a cost of $4.5 million, the Veneno Roadster is one of the rarest, most expensive new cars ever sold. Most were painted ‘Rosso Veneno’ red, but this one has a unique matte black finish with green accents. It’s 6.5-liter V12 produces 740-hp, which allows the Veneno to do 0-60 in just 2.9 seconds and go on to a top speed of 221 mph. Though, we would advise against trying either of those things on Rodeo Drive.
