Oh really I dont delive you, Alcantara streches basicly in one direction only not at all in other direction, go and try. This kind of handle area needs material strethes in all directions. For sure without sewing this area and stretching it into the place leaves ugly wrinkles what me and my customer really dont want. They show up very bad well in dayligt.
If you look that C pillar, then there is no way you can wrap it without sewing this area, Alcantara just dont stretch enought without leaving marks or wrinkles. I have been working years with Alcantara and leather, my experiences are that there are areas can stretch and areas need to sew.

Hmm. I work with alcantara everyday and I just finished two Range Rover headliners this week with Alcantara. Neither are stitched in the areas by the handles. I even wrapped the pieces around the rear windshield. I am not saying its the right or wrong way as your work is beautiful. I just have never stitched in those areas. Obviously you know there is Alcantara heavy, Alcantara panel, and Alcantara soft.

Seriously... Someone should hire this guy - there has to be a larger market for his services here than in Estonia.
