Does anyone know if this is a completely new engine or is it borrowed from another car/truck? I would be interested to hear from some shop guys about how tunable this engine might be.

The interior and front end look great but the back end looks too squished with the slanted window line for my taste.

I have to say that I really like this car. Hopefully the reliability has been addressed.

The whole reason why dudes especially single ones roll at least the Sport is for the rugged good looks of the Range Rover. This turns you into a 3-series type driver which is way too feminine for my style. They even market the crap outta the fact that victoria beckham was involved in the design. victoria beckham? they absolutely want to pull in the female audience.

The Evoque is the 3-series of LR. Nice for the chicks who love Jettas. No thanks from me especially with LR reliability.

Just got an invite to a ride and drive-type day specifically for the Evoque. I'll post the link to the invite once I get back from vacation. Spoke to a friend at LR and he can't stop gushing about the Evoque. He's actually trading in his RR Sport for it!

Have been a merc driver for 8 years and would never consider buying anything else, until now, was waiting to buy the new ml which is due out next year, but seen this and my mind has been changed, got invited to the launch and it looks even better in the flesh, so just waiting on the test drive and that will be me ordering it, if you have seen pictures of the new merc. ML you will understand why, big let down by merc,, this will certainly be enough for my new baby!!!
