Would you mind doing a review and comparison to your previous RR. I am thinking of getting one but an gun shy b/c of RR questionable reliability.

Any issues with your previous one?

Curious to know the difference in ride quality vs your old RRS S/C. Is it worth buying a new RRS S/C w/ it still being the same body style or did the engine and interior totally make up for that?

Side note.. I don't know how they can improve the exterior.. its a perfect blend of badd ass and classy.. Not a nicer SUV out there IMO.

I wouldn't mind at all - just check back in the next day or so.

I completely agree - it's by far my favorite SUV. I don't care if the Cayenne is lighter and faster; it doesn't hold a candle to the RRS. As for your other questions, I'll answer them in the write-up I do.

Do it! This color combo is amazing - looks even better in person. Before I ordered, I was torn between Stornoway/Tan (similar to my Silver Gray/Cinnamon E46 M3) and Santorini/Tan, but I'm really glad I went with Santorini. I love the MY2010+ RRS in white, but the '08 was white - have to change things up.

Hey y'all, I promise the write-up is coming soon... Anyways, tonight I hardwired my V1! After talking to a Porsche fanatic and friend of mine, I mounted the V1 in a slightly different spot, below the rearview mirror so that it's more centrally located and can "see" more clearly out the rear window (he's got the custom V1 mirror mount for Porsches). Plus, I tested mounting it up high, and I don't like how the visor can hit it and knock it upward. If anyone is wondering, the wire is barely visible, as it's easy to tuck behind the mirror bracket. Thoughts/comments?? Here are two pics (sorry for the iPhone pics):

Looks good. Really easy to hardwire the V1s in these RRS'. I mounted mine higher driver side of the mirror to keep it a little more discreet from thieves.
