More encouragement from Ferrari but overall pretty standard stuff. How about Maldonado? How is that guy still driving an F1 car? Was hoping for vettel to come on strong but the Hamilton camp knew exactly what they were doing

Maldonado has made some pretty big errors in the past, but in China Button rammed him from the rear, not Maldonado's fault IMHO.

No I completely agree about that hit but missing the pits again and that spin out. Yikes

I keep hearing something that annoys the crap out of me, and I would like others opinions on this:
"Ferrari is Formula 1"
I think Ferrari is a big part of F1, but I believe that even if Ferrari stepped away it wouldn't end F1. I find it so egotistical that I have a hard time cheering for my favorite driver, who now drives for Ferrari.

I don't know man it would be a serious problem if Ferrari left F1

All I could think of while watching the podium ceremony: Does Nico Rosberg still wish the Ferrari's were a little closer to Mercedes, you know, so the "show" is better for the fans! LOL! I wish I had access to some raw footage to make a short video of it. Him saying that, then Vettel on the top step, and then Kimi passing him for 2nd! :-) I don't know why this amuses me so much.
The mid pack racing is awesome! I hope it keeps up.
I predict Kimi on the top step in one of the next three races.
I also think Ricciardo is on his way to a podium in the first wet race.

Nico is probably kicking himself for that comment. Down to the last lap, the Mercedes duo suffered the brake by wire issue, giving Kimi the 2nd. If there were more laps to go, I am sure he would have passed Lewis for 1st.
Ricciardo was lucky to make it to the finish line as his engine blew up. Talk about timing.Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value.

Been out of pocket for a little while guys, but I have finally caught up on all the F1 action (thank you DVR!).
It's been an interesting season so far. I was worried after race 1 that it would be another season dominated by Mercedes. Frankly, I am a LH fan so it didn't bother me too much, but I was really hoping to see some challenges (i.e.- wheel to wheel action) among the top runners. Race 2 and beyond has provided that. Even though Mercedes is still dominant I'm happy to see that Ferrari is starting to throw some punches. I suspect that after the mid-season break that we will have some REALLY great races.
I almost hate to say it, but I am really impressed with Max V. I, like many, thought that 17 would be too young, but he really does have a tremendous amount of talent. Given the right equipment I think that he could have his first serious championship run before he's 21. Any predictions from anyone else?

This thread is quiet!
What are your thoughts on Audi joining forces with Red Bull? Domination, or Mid Pack mongering?
Can Ferrari beat Mercedes in any more races this year?
Will Williams stand atop the podium this season?
Who are you rooting for Rosberg or Hamilton?
