What are your guys's thoughts on the double points in the last race? I think its the dumbest shit in the world, there's so many things that are out of everyones control that could end up completely screwing the leader at that point. I think if they want to add some extra points up for grabs, give out some points for fastest qualifying and fastest lap in the race. Itll be spread out over the whole season and anyone can get an extra point here and there (my friend came up with that idea, i thought it was great)
Sorry, I didn't read your post. The double points thing is rather stupid. But I like your friends idea of having points up for grabs for fastest qualifying, fastest laps and maybe even most places gained in a race. Maybe it will give the drivers more incentive to actually pass a bit more. So if a driver started 13th and finished 7th, they should give the driver 5 points extra, what you guys think?

I like the idea, maybe a point for each place is a bit much, maybe something along the lines of whoever has the most places gained gets 2 points.
Not quite as many points but any amount counts.
It'll be great even for the development teams that are all fighting to get into the top 10.

I think all these ideas of extra points are vastly better than just arbitrary double points.

The cars are starting to break cover. Here is Scarb's analysis of the Merc and Loutus.

Definitely some different interpretations of the rules. Lotus have asymmetrical nose extensions which other teams say violate the 'spirit' of the regs. Since Lotus are missing this test, we won't know for awhile. Apparently the RB10 just passed the crash tests days before this first test. Looking forward to more....Kimi on top of the timesheets!

    Later,
    Lee

I'm loving the diversity in the front wing design.
Also I had my doubts with the sound of the engines, but after hearing a few of them now, I think they sound great
