Default Officail 2013 Formula 1 World Champoinship thread

    Read my mind.

Not to much to comment on just yet. I love that Mercedes internal dynamics and Brawn are getting more press than Hamilton. Hopefully the issues don't take too much away from their effort. I doubt it. Still don't expect too much.

Rear brake failure at 260kph. Read it this morning. Niko had wiring harness problems on day 1 as well.

Massa was apparently ecstatic about how much better the F138 is over the 150 already.

The f138 is essentially the 150 evolved (as nearly all cars this year are). The 150 by the end of last year was actually a damn good car. The media and Ferrari made it out to be a pos, but it clearly wasn't.

Merc isn't off to a great start, then again last season testing, McLaren weren't off great and they ended up with the best car.

Oh I agree about the 150, last year. Alonso, albeit an amazing driver, couldn't have been in that position unless the car was somewhat capable.

Anytime you read an interview with Newey about their new cars, you always will hear him say, the new is an evolution of the old.

One underlying thing I'm interested to see how it develops throughout the season, is the 2014 car. All major teams have given a percentage of their development teams to dedicate to development of the new car. Wondering how that will affect continuing development of the present cars through the season.
